Cryptococcus neoformans is a yeast like organism found commonly in pigeon bird droppings. Cryptococcosis is associated with Subacute and Chronic meningitis, pulmonary, skin, bone and other lesions especially in patients who are immunocompromised.

2 mL (0.5 mL min.) Serum from 1 SST. Ship refrigerated or frozen. Duly filled Test Send Out Consent Forn (Form 35) is mandatory.
