The Abbott Architect SARS-CoV-2 IgG II test, performed under FDA Emergency Use Authorization, detects IgG antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in serum and plasma of individuals with adaptive immunity. This is a quantitative test designed for SARS-CoV-2 response indicating recent or previous infection. Results are reported in AU/mL. Reactive results (positive, ? 50.0 AU/mL) may be due to vaccination or past or current infection with SARS-CoV-2. Antibody test results should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosing or excluding SARS-CoV-2 infection or for informing infection status.
